Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: July 20, 2025

DMB Properties is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive digital experience in accordance with Arkansas state law and federal accessibility requirements.

Compliance with Arkansas Accessibility Laws

In accordance with Act 1227 of 1999 and its amendment by Act 308 of 2013, all websites and electronic information technology products purchased or supported by the State of Arkansas must be equally accessible to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. This includes providing non-visual alternatives for accessing information and services on our website whenever possible.

As such, we strive to follow the Non-Visual Standards for Arkansas developed by the Arkansas Department of Information Systems. These standards ensure reasonable accommodations are provided when technologies accessible to individuals who are blind or visually impaired are not reasonably available.

Standards We Follow

Our website aims to meet or exceed the following standards for accessibility:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as recommended by the U.S. Department of Justice’s latest ADA rules effective June 24, 2024.

  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, requiring access to electronic and information technology by individuals with disabilities.

  • Arkansas state requirements to provide text equivalents for all non-text elements such as images, audio, animation, and video.

Accessibility Features

To provide meaningful access to all users, we have implemented:

  • Keyboard navigation support

  • Text alternatives for all non-text content

  • Adjustable text sizes and responsive design

  • Consistent and clear navigation structure

  • Adequate color contrast to aid users with visual impairments

Limitations and Exemptions

Certain types of content or technologies may be inherently visual in nature where equivalent non-visual alternatives are not possible. In such cases, we endeavor to provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Arkansas law.
